Hello, Ive had breast implants with areola reduction in May 2013. I want to know until how long will my areolas stay puffy? My doctor told me about 4 months but its been almost 6 months. Sometimes the puffiness goes down and the areola is flat but most times i see the swelling in the areola. Will i need a revision? ALso, any advice on scarring? The scarring is not attractive but i hear it will take about a year or so for the scar to heal and fade. Please offer any advice and thanks in advance!

Thank you for the photographs. It is unlikely that the position of your implant will change after 6 months. It appears that the left breast is fuller. There may several reasons for this. It is best to revisit with your PS concerning this matter.Dr. ES
