Chin Surgery: Q&A

Ask a Question

How Long Does It Take to See the the Final Result of a Chin Reduction?

I know there are 2 kinds of chin reductions - bone removal and bone burring. When can you expect to see a general result from either? Will you see a result sooner from cutting the bone, removing part of it and reattaching it or burring?

Result after chin reduction

You should see the result of chin reduction, any way it is done, immediately after surgery although it may take 6-9 months or more for the swelling to go away completely.
