I had a donut lift with implants. I am unhappy with my results. I didn't want implants to begin with but my doc informed me i would have a man's chest if i went with lift alone. I wanted a lollipop lift but he said i wouldn't like the scars. It has been 25 days (3 weeks) since my surgery and Im still not liking them any better. My doc says to give it time. I think they are too big and dont look natural. How long will I have to wait before i can have them taken out and possibly a lollipop lift?

Waiting time for revision

From the photographs and clinical information you submitted, it appears that the third photograph in the sequence is not from the same patient. The first two images correspond to the history.  In general, 3 weeks is too early to consider any sort of revision unless you are attempting to treat a complication such as a delayed hematoma. It sounds like you discussed many options with your surgeon prior to the surgery. At this point, before reconsidering those decisions, I would... more

Lollipop lift / mastopexy produces scars but the breast are beautiful- it is worth it!!

You do not have to wait for a revision if the pictures are yours.  There are several issues that I see looking at the pictures which are attached to your question.  I think the reason you are unhappy is that the breast are essentially unchanged in shape and bigger.  The question that I like to have answered to determine if you need an implant at the time of a lift is: Do you like the size of the breast in the bra? If the answer is "YES" then you need a lift alone. If... more

Three weeks after donut (periareolar) lift plus implants--how soon for revision?

It sounds as if you and your surgeon didn't communicate "fully," as there was a component to his advice that perhaps you needed to hear more closely--a lift alone removes an ounce or two of skin in order to tighten your breasts and lift your nipple-areola position, but without implants, you have very little but the smaller and still-deflated skin brassiere you started with. You do not have enough volume to look like your third photograph, which I presume is your goal. A... more

How Long After Donut Lift w/ Implants Do I Need to Wait to Do Revision?

I know that 3 weeks is a short time, but if you are unhappy with the results of the lift and the size, waiting 3 or 6 months is not going to change your unhappiness or magically make you like your breast results any better.  If all you wanted at this point was a lollipop lift and leave the implants in, or removal of the implants and a lift, I would tell you that I dont believe that there is any benefit to waiting.  If you have saline implants, the saline can be removed before the... more

How Long After Donut Lift w/ Implants Do I Need to Wait to Do Revision?

Sorry for the unhappiness. Thanks for being so kind and posing photos! I agree with you. Was your doc a boarded PS? He made some poor choices for you. I agree with the lollipop or full lift + a small implant like 250 cc to 350 cc. I think you should wait about 3 months to attain full healing. Than see either Drs. Pat Maxwell or Jack Fisher in Nashville. Regards from MIAmi

Breast Surgery Revision

First of all, thanks for posting before and after pictures.  However, the third picture in the series does not appear to be you.  Are you posting this as an example of what you wanted your results to look like?  If so, you should make that picture as such or address it in your question to clear up any confusion.  As for your surgery, this is a great example of a disconnect between the doctor and the patient.  It is very important for you and your surgeon to be on the... more
