I am 5 and a half weeks post op I'm starting to run low on my current shampoo which was suplied to me in Turkey Folixir Anti Hair Loss Shampoo. They seem to only sell this product in Turkey. I live In the United Kingdom now what shampoos are recommended for me to use. Thank you
Answer: Use any You can use any shampoo you wish. Shampoos will not affect your transplants. You can pick and choose your favorite. Some doctors or websites may try to sell you a specific brand and that is great. It will impact your wallet more than your hair.

If these grafts have been chosen carefully, they will not miniaturize. And if they have not suffered damaged from instruments or air drying, this will also contribute to their survival.Shampoos will work on the very top layers of the skin as opposed to addressing the follicular structures. So it is highly unlikely that they will have an effect on hair loss or growth.After a procedure, you may want to select a shampoo that is gentle and non-drying or irritating for your scalp. But this, of course, would be a different area of concern compared to graft survival, hair loss and successful growth

Answer: Shampoo Selection Hi there, i echo some of the comments below. Using a shampoo with high sodium lauryl sulphate can cause irritation to the scalp. I would recommend using an organic, sulphate free shampoo which is gentle on the scalp and hair shaft.
