Many times we associate symptoms we are having to a particular event whether or not they actually caused it. Its only natural to want to blame something and chances are your botox injections sticks out in your mind as the only thing different. There are reports of people having flu like symptoms after injections, but I do not this this is from the product itself. If you are concerned, in the future use Xeomin, which has no residual proteins and would be the least likely to initiate any reactions from injection. Best, Dr. Emer.

Much more likely is a possibility that you caught a viral infection... a cold? or maybe a urinary tract infection... something that is very minor and may only manifest as a brief fever as your immune system fights it off and you go on
