Should I wear make-up on my eyebrows before a transplant? I'm having a brow transplant to redefine/reshape my brows

If you are having surgery with a doctor and it has been scheduled, you should ask your doctor these questions.  Your doctor may be very particular about these issues.  

It would be certainly fine to bring an eyebrow pencil with you to your surgery.  I use one with my patients to be sure that they are comfortable with the contour and design.  It's normal to spend a lot of time tracing and erasing to be sure everyone is on the same page.  I also recommend several facial measurements to be sure the look is absolutely perfect.   It is very important to get things right from the start.  If the eyebrows don't look right with the pencil, they will never look right after the transplant.  I also recommend PRP (platelet rich plasma) and growth factors with every surgery to help assure good graft survival after the transplant.
