Does the buttocks remain besutifulafter liposuction?

Yes it is possible to do very detailed liposuction on the buttocks and decrease the size while still maintaining the shape.    It is even possible to improve the shape.  Buttocks liposuction is a little tricky so find a skilled surgeon with ABPS ecertification that does many battocks lipos.  Some use the word liposculpture nut in reality this is a marketing term and liposuction =liposculpture.  I suppose liposculpture denotes carefully done lipo but all lipo... more

Buttock Shaping

The shape of the buttock can generally be maintained, especially if your only a limited amount is being removed.  The more you want the buttock size decreased, the more likely to start to get some irregularity of flattening.

Liposuction can be performed on the buttocks to reduce the size yet still maintain the same general shape. As with liposuction on any body part, the final outcome and contour is dependent upon surgical technique and the skin response after surgery. Yes buttock liposuction is done but conservatively as there is a possibility, even when done by experienced surgeons, that there can be some loss of support to cause flattening or drooping. Every patient's anatomy is somewhat different.

Liposuction of the buttocks shoudl be done with caution.  If done too agressively, it can destroy the fine attachments of the skin and make the buttock look saggy and old.
