Liposonix at High Level Vs. Lower Level Joules?

The best results with Liposonix occur when a total of 180 j of energy are delivered to each "site" . You need a minimum of 140 j for a good result. A site is about 2 by 2 inches in size and the average tummy is 12 sites.  There are multiple techniques to ensure that enough energy is delivered. I favor treating one site 3 times with 60j and then move to the next site. You could also treat all 12 sites once and then repeat 2 more times.  The result is the same.  Other options include using lower settings with more passes.  The goal is the total energy!

As far as safety, the liver processes the fat over a period of weeks.  The amount of fat processed daily is similar to eating a couple of french fries. 

I have never seen any irregularities Liposonix.  Our experience has been consistently positive!

Liposonix uses focused ultrasound energy for nonivasive localized fat reduction. In the clinical trials and in my experience of more than  year with Liposonix, I have not seen any uneven contours or ropiness. There are a few things to consider regarding the energy level, which is measured in joules. The total joules should be 160-180, which is typically given in 3 or 4 passes to each area. Lower energy is better tolerated by some, so we do what is called "pulse stacking" to get a better effect. The idea of doing it all in one pass will be studied in a clinical trial which you probably heard about from Dr. Jewell. The device on the market now cannot be set to that energy level.
