IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING LIPODISSOLVE, PLEASE DO NOT DO IT. Work with your doctor to find a way that is medically safe to lose weight. After reading the rest of my blog, you will understand why. If you have had difficulties with your refund process, call the toll free number and talk to Tonya. I don't have her last name, but mention it's with regards to a refund and I'm sure they will get you to the right person. Also, don't let them bully you. If you are due a refund, fight it. Contact the Better Business Bureau - that's what they are there for. Contact whoever you need to, just make sure you get your guaranteed refund. I'm hoping that someday soon somebody will file a class action lawsuit against this company - especially considering what I will tell you all regarding my refund consultation. I previously posted under "Lipodissolve (fig.) must be stopped".

Unfortunately as a patient I felt scammed. I honestly was told by an employee when asked was what was going into me FDA approved and she said yes. I understood that the procedure was not, they said that was waiting final approval. Another thing during the consultation I was told if I got the package deal I would need about 3-4 injections to get the results and then the rest unused,I can use them on other parts. It felt like a win, win. They kept pushing the bananas, eventhough I was more concerned about my outer thighs. They said that would cover that area. So I got the package for the inner thighs and bananas. My fault for trusting a business. But when it was all women, very nice, professional, everything I wanted to hear (should have been my first clue,) for some reason I trusted them, and I always had that "money back guaranteed". Well I got no results on my inner and outer thighs. However there was measureable result to my bananas. The portion I cared nothing about. And that was reinterated everytime I went in there. Let me go back when I let them no I wasn't seeing any results. She said you normally don't see any results that early. Right then I knew I had made the wrong decision. Well just recently I did get a letter to receive half my monies back, they said that since I did get results from my banana area, that is why only half was being reimbursed. However, on the brighter side I have my health and happiness. And this too shall pass. Have a wonderful Holiday to past patients and former employees of fig.

I bought a package in June of 2006. I had a couple of treatments but started gaining weight. I was told that they wouldn't give me any more treatments until I lost the weight. Well.. It's been a year and I've worked very hard and now they are closed and I can't finish the treatments. But after reading a lot of the blogs, many people gained weight. I had lost over 100 pounds. I had more to go before my goal, but I wanted to get rid of weird pockets of fat/folds on my inner thighs. I knew/know I wasn't going to be a super model, but I wanted the skin to "blend" with the rest of my legs. After months of working out and the nodules being absorbed I think my legs actually look better however with that said, I haven't lost anymore weight and am unable to complete the treatments for obvious reasons. It is unfortunate that the employees were surprised as well as the customers. I paid for my procedure with a Visa in full. I'm not sure if I will get the rest of my money back or not. But I would hope that the bankruptcy would provide customers and employees with refunds/lost wages. But sometimes what is fair isn't what happens. Good luck.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who saw no results and also gained 6 pounds.... the doctor in the LV office looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if this was happening to any other patients, then suggested laser treatments, I then went back for my next apt. and just wanted to talk to the finance department because I financed 2 areas(lower tummy and love handles) and decided to just start with the lower abbs and if that worked then I would continue with the love handles, so I had horrible results, gained weight, very bad pain, my stomach now looks lumpy and now I feel like the top of my abs are getting flabby and I never had a problem with my upper abs.... basiclly it comes down to the procedure didnt work for me and I will even pay for the procedure I had done, but I refuse to pay for services that I never had done, I have no idea where to even start with this because when I talked to the finance person a few months ago the lady said the would submit a request to take off the extra 2000.00 dollars, and that it could take upto 90 days, and now the offices are closed and I just dont know what to do. If anybody has any ideas where to start, please let me know.

I had only done one treatment in Southlake, TX, and my results were very satisfactory. I was looking forward to continuing. I lost weight and inches this month. There is information on the door in the fig center in Southlake indicating a local medical option that can allow us lipodissolve patients to continue our treatments with this other group. I don't know why it didn't work for some folks on this website but in Southlake, I know others were having great results and were anxious to continue. By the way, the medical director for the Southlake location is a long-standing Dallas plastic surgeon who is very respected.

I tried fig and actually liked it, I didnt however get the Lipodissolve I got the weight management program which i only paid 900 for I was simply going to get assistance with losing the rest of the weight that i couldnt seem to get off i had lost about 33lbs but couldnt lose anymore also i was getting ready to get an area added to that bill which would have been my lower stomach. However i found out i am pregnant so no more treatment or diets right now but I just wanted to let everyone know that I simply called care credit told them that I wanted to retain the account but wanted to dispute the charges from fig. They said it can take up to 90 days and what ever fees interest and adverse results that might or have taken place due to this charge would be removed if i win the dispute and that the dispute form was being mailed to me today. BY they way she was not aware that FIG had closed its doors. I'll try to keep you updated

FIG is a scam and I can prove it!! I have stopped receiving treatment from FIG for about 2 months. When I finally decided to start treatments again, imagine my surprise when I get the recorded message that FIG had closed down as of early Dec. Then, how do you explain FIG debiting my checking account on the 20th for the payment to the in-house financing account they have established for me? They have stopped all operations but have not stopped continuing to steal money from already irrate customers. Care Credit is not much help either, and there has to be a remedy for these types of white collar crime so that future criminals do not get any fresh ideas. I can live with the fact that I was at one point desperate enough or naive enough to believe in something that was too good to be true, but the fact remains that I paid for a product I did not get. Therefore there is no question as to whether a refund should be issued. Care Credit should zero out my balance and refund all monies paid for a defective product. FRAUD should be punished not only on the civil level, but remember it is a CRIME!

Okay, I've kept quiet and read numerous posts. I just can't keep quiet any longer. I went to FIG in October, I've had 3 treatments. Did they hurt? Yes. But when I went for my initial consultation, all of that was clearly explained to me. And I was repeatedly told that this was not a weight loss program, that I would not lose much if any weight. This was to remove the fat pockets in very specific areas. The explanation was so detailed, I was impressed. They clearly explained that they would only be getting to the fat between the skin and the muscle, which only weighs 3-5 lbs. TOTAL. I was having three areas done, low abs, upper abs, and love handles. The most I could expect to lose weight-wise was 3-5 lbs. I would lose inches. But those inches would not be lost until I had 6 treatments per area and then stop treatments for about 3 months. After that entire time they would have me come back in and measure to see if I had the results I was happy with. The 6 treatments each area (18 total) spread out 2-3 weeks each time (18X3=54 weeks) and then 3 months (12 weeks)down time gives me a total of 66 weeks or 16 1/2 months. I was fully aware that it would be a LONG process. Fat doesn't just fall off. They told me it would be a long process. It didn't take me a couple of months to get those fat pockets, it sure wasn't going to fall off in a couple months, either. If I wanted to lose weight, I could do the Body Management through FIG, which I got involved with as well. It was also very clear that the Body Management and the LipDissolve treatments did not go hand in hand and were completely separate. Weight loss results were up to me. As far as the guarantee, I asked about that as well. It was not a complete satisfaction guarantee. It was a guarantee that you would have results if you stayed within your BMI during treatments and if you completed the treatments. I am deeply disappointed that I will not be able to complete my treatments. I am saddened that so many have lost their jobs and are not doing what they believed in. It really bothers me that so many indicate they didn't have the weight loss they expected, at no time was I told I would get weight loss from the lipodissolve so it makes me curious who they spoke with. The news reports have customers of FIG who state this and I read it here. Where did that come from? Some of you went to the same location I did and spoke to the same people I did. They were CLEAR in that information to me. I also asked multiple questions and repeated those questions until I had exactly what I needed to know to make the decision to do this. I'd love to continue my treatments. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay for it twice.

Dees is right. They did not promise weight loss and only promised that I would lose inches if I did not gain weight. Lipodissolve is not and has never claimed to be a weight loss program. Unfortunately, I will never know if it would work for me because I only had a total of 5 (very painful) treatments and I was treating 3 areas. (I cannot belive they claimed you could do it on your kunch hour and go back to work!!!) So I had just begin my treatments when they closed their doors. I have not heard from FIG; they claim they are contacting all their patients; nor do I expect to hear from them. I have filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General and I have sent a letter to CareCredit (GE Money Bank) disputing the charges. I refuse to believe they can get by with this, so I am remaining optimistic. I do not care if I do not get a full refund; I just do not want to have to pay any more since I am not getting what was promised to me. I am ashamed of myself for stupidly getting involved in this program. I have started a weight loss and exercise program and am already seeing results. I should have done this in the first place.

Im sorry for all the employees that lost their jobs without notice after the doors closed. I hope that those of us who should get a refund will fairly get one. I was very hopefull to see results, but sadly did not get any. During my treatments (lower abs)I was always in a lot of burning pain, had unexpected weight gain, and gained inches not only in the treated area but also in my upper abs. Every time I went in for treatment I would have my husband drive me there because I knew that when I got out the pain would be so bad that I could not even drive! I always informed the staff of this but they said it was normal, they once suggested a prescription for pain killers. Congratulations to those who luckily have sucess stories and for those who dont, hopefully we all can at least get some kind of response to what the future holds for patients in regards to refunds. As for: GE and Fig Please be courteous to your patients who trusted you and paid you in advance for a service you promised us.
