Fig Advanced Lipodissolve refund

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING LIPODISSOLVE, PLEASE DO NOT DO IT.  Work with your doctor to find a way that is medically safe to lose weight.  After reading the rest of my blog, you will understand why.  If you have had difficulties with your refund process, call the toll free number and talk to Tonya.  I don't have her last name, but mention it's with regards to a refund and I'm sure they will get you to the right person.  Also, don't let them bully you.  If you are due a refund, fight it.  Contact the Better Business Bureau - that's what they are there for.  Contact whoever you need to, just make sure you get your guaranteed refund.  I'm hoping that someday soon somebody will file a class action lawsuit against this company - especially considering what I will tell you all regarding my refund consultation.  I previously posted under "Lipodissolve (fig.) must be stopped".

I finally received a refund after 8 months, increased injections, different treatments, etc., etc. However, I gained weight during the entire practice and still have swelling in different areas where I never previously had a problem (upper abs, in particular). We repeatedly asked for continued treatments (without injections)to dissolve the nodes (after three months)or reverse the treatment, but since they agreed to give me the refund, they would do no more. After several months, I again contacted their customer service manager and was told that perhaps I could set up another appointment with the doctor. I would be interested in a class action law suit!

I totally agree with d. and her comments. I too was an employee of fig. I too lost my job and my income. It sucks and this situation doesn't help anyone. I can truthfully tell everyone that no one is gaining from this. Owners and investors alike have lost millions. Do you want to know what happened? Here's the scoop. Over the last few months there has been a downward trend in the aesthetic surgery industy. The snakes in the media magnified this by running stories on all the unhappy patients. All companies have unhappy patients, but the media mislead everyone by not portraying the correct information. Sites like this included. For the sake of 500 employees and patients, fig. grew rapidly and fought to stay alive despite these strong negative forces. Hundreds of patients took advantage of the guaranteed results program and screwed everyone. Even if they had measurable results, as the guarantee stated clearly in the contract you signed. There is NO SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. But everyone made it out like it was. Patients did not live up to their end of the contract and then expected fig. to. This situation plus much more screwed us all over. Along with all the other fig. employees i've lost my job. But i know for a fact that none has lost more money than the owner. Millions. I'm sure it will all get sorted out. We all just need to be patient. I know it sucks but i've spoken to some friends that worked there and there are still people working for free to get this all sorted out for everyone.

I was a Fig employee too...and let me just say I WILL NOT BE PATIENT WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! They have screwed us and the patients around for over a year now. This company paid us on Monday Dec 10th, and turned right back around and took it out of our acocunts early this morning, now tell me how thats fair to be patient? The problem was that our company expanded too quickly..they were not bringing in the money that they thought they were. Rob was greedy and he DID NOT loose millions, I know this for sure. We know people who are very close with him......... he is sitting pretty with a few million, but is now being investigated. He has done this with his other two companies, one being 321 Studios, look it up. For our patients, my heart reaches out for you...yes, we can find another job, but ya'll might be out thousands of dollars. This owner is a snake and he has not only screwed you as patients, but he has even screwed some of his top people at corporate. Im not sure if it will do any good to contact Care Credit because as far as I know, they don't give out refunds like this. The patients with the best bet would be patients who paid with an everyday credit card like Visa, American Express, ect. I too will be willing to join in a class action lawsuit, as well as all my other coworkers in my clinic. We have all been had, and justice needs to be served.

I went for a free consultation with fig here in arizona on Nov. 19, not knowing that they are already going to close their clinic, They advice me to open a care credit card and was approved for $10,000 of which $9,000 was already charged without any services done yet. I left with a charged of $9,000, they told me that they will contact me for the appointment meeting with the doctor, and couple of days later they said that my appointment will be on Dec. 14. On Dec 11 i decided to call them to confirm my appointment and was shocked to find out that they are already closed. I called GE Money Bank right away, and talked to a guy name Bill with an operator number 7412 at 12:30pm and told him about the bill I got from the mail, I explained I never get any service with this company and found that they went bankcrupt and I want them to credit back that $9,000 on my account since I am using this care credit card with other skin treatment that i need. He said that he will send a form out to me to dispute the fig bill and that they will take care of it, and so I said my thank you and wish him to have a good day. As I was driving home, I realized that I have to call them back to change my work phone number since I only work part-time, this time I talked to a guy name Jake with an operator number 71500, so i told him my story again and when he checked the computer, he said that there is nothing on the computer about my complaint and that there is no form that went out....surprise....surprise, so he told me that he will have the paper work out that day and that I will receive it in about 7 to 10 days. I am posting this today, December 14th, to send it to GE Money Bank together with my payment for the services I received from a different clinic and attached a note specifically telling them where to apply the payment I am sending. Its always good to take notes about the people you talked to over the phone and always get their Identification for future reference. I am still in the process of waiting for the dispute paperwork..I am counting 7 to 10 business days. I will also attached a copy of this post to send it to them.

You have it all wrong. Paychecks, the company that pays us, made the mistake. It has already been reversed. You say you know people who are close with Rob and that he hasn't lost millions. Well I am personally close with him and I can tell that he has lost several million dollars. I am loyal to this company because they took care of me. They took care of all of us. We had great benefits, and then as soon as something goes wrong everyone looks for the scapegoat. Like last night on T.V. an employee went off about how she had been screwed and that her house burnt down. Well, who were the people that gave her money and things to get back on her feet. The owner and other employees! I know everyone would be stressed but this isn't an easy situation for anybody, including myself. Shame on you. Get your facts right before you go and make rash claims about things you know nothing about.

Everyone keeps saying they want to participate in a class action lawsuit, well....I'm in too, do any of you know a good firm that would want to take a case like this? I know at least one of you knows a good lawyer that would be up for something like this, or one of their lawyer friends that might want to.

A class action law suit is a waste of time. You'll spend a whole bunch of money and get nothing because the company is BANKRUPT. It will all be a waste of effort and A LOT of money for legal fees.

Aspie, you crack me up. I know that you are Rob's brother so you can stop pretending like you are just another fig. employee. Rob may be out a few million dollars but he did not get to be a millionaire with 3 bankrupt companies by investing everything he had and not keeping his share of the profits. Employees are upset with Rob because, as the CEO, he was the decision maker for the company. Leadership comes with great responsibility - he got the credit when the company was doing well and now he is getting the blame for the company's failure. The payroll withdrawls were extremely unfortunate. I hope Rob can appreciate that many employees had paid their bills after reciving their final payroll deposit on Monday and ended up with negative balances in their bank accounts and were hit with overdraft fees when the deposit was reversed.

First of all, as a medical professional, I am disgusted. My first loyalty has always been to the patient and I sympathize with each of you regarding this situation. The medication does work and is safe. I too have seen great results from patients who participated in the program. The problem is the unpredictability of the product. There is no way to determine who it works on and how many inches one will lose. After six treatments, I saw anywhere from 1/2 inch to 3 3/4 inches off patients. Secondly, to reiterate, the employees at Fig knew nothing of the closure until 5pm Friday. Many of us were in tears when we received the phone call. I have never been with an organization that files bankruptcy. Life has been awful for approximately 500 employees since the closing. Finally, in response to Apsie, the real reason our paychecks were reversed was because Paychex was not paid by the company. When the money was released, we received our checks. However, we are still out one week of pay and vacation time that was accrued. The worst part of all is that we enjoyed are jobs and worked very diligently to make it a positive experience for the patients and our fellow employees.
