Fig Advanced Lipodissolve refund

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING LIPODISSOLVE, PLEASE DO NOT DO IT.  Work with your doctor to find a way that is medically safe to lose weight.  After reading the rest of my blog, you will understand why.  If you have had difficulties with your refund process, call the toll free number and talk to Tonya.  I don't have her last name, but mention it's with regards to a refund and I'm sure they will get you to the right person.  Also, don't let them bully you.  If you are due a refund, fight it.  Contact the Better Business Bureau - that's what they are there for.  Contact whoever you need to, just make sure you get your guaranteed refund.  I'm hoping that someday soon somebody will file a class action lawsuit against this company - especially considering what I will tell you all regarding my refund consultation.  I previously posted under "Lipodissolve (fig.) must be stopped".

I have tried to contact the new office here in Louisville,Ky and they have closed already. I signed a contract for a nice sum of money to be available to me for the treatments. Now, I'm not sure if I have to pay that back or not.

Just received this e-mail from FIG: We are sorry to report that, due to economic conditions beyond our control, fig. closed its operations on December 7, 2007. The company is currently consulting with counsel and will likely seek legal relief under the bankruptcy code to ensure it preserves all options including the ability to reorganize and continue operations. Current patients undergoing treatment will be contacted by the company regarding continued treatment options or making a refund claim. All pending appointments for consultations and treatments have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Please check our website www.fig.com for the latest information. Please DO NOT respond to this email as it will go unanswered.

Fig closed it's doors!! They went Bankrupt. I actually joined the program and now I'm out money, I only had 1 of 9 sessions that I paid for. I agree, good excersize and eating healthy are the answers. They had a good eating plan for me: 6 meals a day w/ 2 cups of veggies and a protein ea. meal. I felt great with that alone! With excersizing, it just starts to melt. I started @ 215 lbs. and now @ 200lbs. I owe it to the eating habit and excersizing. The lipo didn't change my targeted area messurements. (lower tummy only)

I am also a fig patient. i began my first and last treatment in November. I became very irate after they stopped treatment on me after i gained 3 lbs.....YES only 3lbs. if that doesnt sound bad my BMI is under 20% So my weight was perfectly fine i just gain 3 lbs after my first treatment. It seems like a blessing though when you look at it. I was very disappointed with the treatment and staff and wanted my $$$ back from the beginning now i can. I also contacted CareCredit GE they also advised me of the dispute form but they really seemed helpful to me. They informed they will stop drafting payments when they receive the dispute information back from me. I believe the credit card company will pay out these claims if you didnt receive your full services. The credit card company will then go after this company under chapter 11. I think its just a mess right now because everyone wants there money ASAP including me but i think and hope CareCredit will come through for those who never got there full treatment. Has anybody consulted any legal advise for the dallas area?

I am a former employee as of last Friday. I can honestly say that I did see MANY patients who saw great results. However, I do honestly understand the complaints about the side effects. I know personally, I tried to deal with each client on an individial base and give them the best options to help. Also, no one in the company knew it was closing until 4 PM on Friday, so my heart goes out to all those people who just signed up. Just know that the employees in the centers didn't know a THING until closing on Friday and it was NOT our intent to just "take your money". Why would we want to do that? Now, in a way, fig has taken my money too. Yes, being unemployed right before Christmas is TERRIBLE and very-unexpected. We also worked an entire work week and we will NOT be getting paid for it. So just know that there are more people out there that this is affecting, and be thankful you have jobs to earn money right before the holidays!

Evidently, fig is supposed to be calling all of their clients about refunds and continued services. I highly doubt that they will call. You can cross your fingers but, I have seen companies file chapter 11 so unless they get back on their feet NO ONE will be getting their money back. FIGures that they would go bankrupt...considering their marketing ploy that nobody had to make payments for a year...how would they stay a float with no money coming in and so many people wanting their money back for undesired results. I actually saw results after a year of treatments...too bad I didnt get to finish my swan package and I am OUT $10,000 Flipping Dollars. Hard lesson to learn. No need to contact the BBB if there is no business and good luck with GE Care Credit, I have yet to see a refund. I suggest keep researching, stay hopeful, and pray for a miracle.

I haven't had any problems with my injections and have seen results in one of the two areas that I've had treated. At this point though, I don't think it matters if it has worked or not, we need to work together to get out money back. I've just filed a complaint with the Kansas Attorney Generals office. They cannot really help just a few of us, but if we can get hundreds of people to get on this, we might have something for them to work with.

I just got an email that said it was in regards to my appointment Friday. This is how I find out that the company has gone bankrupt. Has anyone been contacted yet about a refund? Has anyone spoken to an attorney to find out what our rights are? I want my money back, I have been 8 times for treatments and gained 10 pounds and 1 inch! Did anyone get and keep track of the papers that were signed in the beginning?

I just read the email from fig. I am embarrassed and upset. I can't believe that they just closed down and didn't contact anyone beforehand. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I went through so much pain. I am still in pain, and my stomach is messed up. I'm sure that I am going to hear a lot of "I told you so" remarks. I was so certain about this procedure. I did my research, but obviously I didn't dig deep enough. Now my stomach is full of lumps, and it looks horrible. I am really going to look into a class action suit. This is not fair.
