I have just recently had lipo dissolve on my inner thighs. The swelling is obscene and so is the pain. I told the doc that I had three kids and my husband would be going out of town the day after the procedure, he thought i would be fine. I can hardly walk and i break down into tears often even with the pain killers. Is this normal with inner thighs and when is the swelling going to go down to a comfortable level? PLease send personal experiences with this! Also should i ask for numbing cream, it was never offered? thanks!!!!

I am considering getting Lipodissolve after seeing the amazing results that Britney Spears has had. I work out 4-5 times a week and eat right most of the time. But I need to lose about 10 lbs and I think this will help me out. My abs have been my weakest area and are really hard to firm up. After reading all of the reviews, I am confused. I hear good things and bad things. I'm not sure if the bad things are coming from people who don't exercise and are overweight. I have read that this procedure is for slender people that have an area that is hard to get rid of. Please help. I don't want to be misled.

I just had my second treatement on inner and outer thighs. I am seeing slight results in my inner thighs, none so far in the outer thighs. For me the pain was intense for 48 hours and after that I was up and running and doing my routines. Since my first treatement some areas on my skin remain purple and some vericose veins have appeared. Temporary side effect?? I don't know. I was told to massage by hand or with vibrating massager every single day for atleast 5 minutes to help break up the knots. I was told to double the amount of water I drink, and do a body cleanse atleast every three months to continue getting rid of all the broken down fat. I was told I must exercise or else the fat will get stored somewhere else. I am on my second treatement, I have lost two pounds. I eat pretty healthy, I walk two miles twice a week. I go hiking most weekends. That is all I have time for with my work schedule. I have also just started a diet that includes the protein shakes. The medifast shakes were gross, I go to GNC. I am anxious to see if this works for me. I am not a thin person. I am 5'5 and weigh 170 lb. I have always been a heavier set person, yet active. I was told I was a perfect candidate. Anyone else out there like me???

I realize that cost is probably relative to one's location. I live in the Portland, Oregon area. Anyway...I'm wondering if anyone could share with me the approximate costs of treatments. I'm worried about taking time off of my new job for a consultation, to then find out that this is beyond my budget. Even a rough idea would certainly help me. I wish to get the backside of my hips done, which seemed to have increased in size after my first pregnancy.

Hi, About 4 weeks ago, I had a treatment on my upper back. Way up near the shoulder blades. One side still has numbness. Does anyone know is this normal after 4 weeks? The numbness is not subsiding? I'm a little scared. The nurse said next time I come in they will do a cold lasar. Has anyone had lasar done?

I was wondering if anyone has had lipodissolve or what I have found as mesotherapy in the Cincinnati area? I found a doctor who will have the injections next week for lipodissolve and another who does mesotherapy. I was wondering what the difference was and if I would notice a difference w/ 1 treatment. I am in a wedding in 5 weeks and wanted a little help. I really only want to lose about a total of 10-15 lbs but for the wedding maybe only 5. Also wondering about the cost. If anyone could help w/ info let me know. Thanks!!

I JUST had a treatment on my abdomen, yesterday, and I have to say -- I was NOT prepared for the pain I experienced last night. I had it done at 4:30, and while the needle pokes didn't hurt that much, there were, in fact, TONS of them. I did not expect this. By 8:00 p.m. my abdominal area was swollen to twice its size and reddened. Not only that, but it was hot, burning and so painful that I could barely stand up. I put an ice-pak on it, but that didn't help much. By 10:00 p.m. or so I was in bed. I had the chills and I could not roll over, nor could I do anything other than lay flat on my back. I barely slept. When I tried to get up, it was extremely painful! The only respite on I got was this morning when I decided to give in and take ibuprofen. Today I am sore for sure, but the ibuprofen kicked in and it's a bit better. Anyways, my opinion? I would wear loose fitted clothing to the appointment and go straight home afterwords! I would prepare to ice-pack on and off for at least 2 hours, due to swelling and pain. They say not to use Ibuprofen because of the blood-thinning effect, but if I didn't take some this morning, I WOULD NOT be at work today. Get all of the facts before you go in. This is not as EASY as I thought. I will report back on results.

P.S. After I tried to get up off my couch to go to bed, I felt completely naseuous and sick as well. I had to get some water right away and lay back down. Oh, and mine was called Mesotherapy with an ultrasound before and after to help the treatment take and to ease the pain -- YEAH RIGHT! Just want to report all of the possibilities. And no, I am not overweight. I have about 9 pounds to lose and that's it.

Today is 100% better. The pain has subsided a bit. The swelling is still significant, so make sure you take a day or two off of work, because unless you have a stretchy skirt, it hurts to put on clothes. If you're going to have this done, keep a few things in mind: 1 There are lots of needle pokes. They don't hurt, but it's still bothersome 2 Bring loose clothing to change into after it's done 3 Expect to hurt and swell about 2 hours after the procedure. 4 Don't exercise for two days. Lay down and give it time to heal 5 Drink a lot of water to flush your system 6 Go get Arnica Gel at a nutrition store to prevent pain and bruising and use 3 X a day 7 use ice packs if possible
