Is Lipo Better Than Velashape for Getting Rid of Celluite but Can Leave Skin Bumpy?

I have really bad cellulite on my thighs and buttocks. Someone told me that Lipo does not help celluite and can leave the skin looking even more bumpy and uneven. I thought to try Velashap but having read the reviews, it sounds like this doesn't work. I've seen Lipo on the TV and it looks quite rough. I'm also worried about being put under anaesthetic. Also, I can't exercise much due to knee problems. Which is more permanent?

Neither Lipo nor velashape can definitively eliminate cellulite. In some instances you will see improvements while in others you will see minor changes and perhaps it could become worse. The problem is the lack of predictability.

We need better treatments.

The truth is we need better treatments for cellulite. I don't consider liposuction to be appropriate for treating cellulite. The risks clearly outweigh the benefits for cellulite. As far as other devices to treat cellulite, they may work to some extent. most people will see only temporary results. I think this is an area where we will see better technology developed.

No permanent fix for cellulite

There is no permanent fix for cellulite and liposuction may help in some areas of your body and make it worse in others, while not changing it in some areas. Velashape may be a good maintenance treatment but will not eliminate it nor make it perfect on a temporary basis. It may only improve it and you will need maintenance treatment.

Realistic expectations are what you need to become acquainted with. Lipos of any type can only slightly improve cellulite. While Velashape is a waste of time and $. The answer to the second part of your question is lipo is more permanent.

Limited options for improving cellulite

Despite the large percentage of women with cellulite, there are very limited options to treat it. Liposuction will remove localized areas of disproportionate fat, but cellulite can occur even where the fat layer is thin. Cellulite and liposuction

Liposuction is not a procedure that will imrpove cellulite. It is very unpredictable it may even make it worse. Early work with Velasmooth suggests that it may help soften the cellulite.
