Why Do Lip lift Incision Placements Differ?

I notice from looking at various before/after LipLift photos that some PS make an effort to place the scar close to contour/crease of the nose. Yet, there are others that make the incision under the nose, but appear to make no attempt at trying to conceal the scar as much as possible. I assume anyone having cosmetic/plastic surgery want the scars to be hidden as much as possible? Why do you suppose some make the effort and some don't?
