Ohmic thermolysis or thermocoagulation is one option for treating telangiectasias around the nares. This includes VeinGogh or VeinWave.

Other technologies include IPL with the BBL BroadBand by Sciton or RF technology.

I prefer to use either a 532 nm KTP laser or the 1064 nm Nd YAG laser.

CoolTouch Varia is a 1064 nm laser for telangiectasias.

There are several laser treatments that have been proven effective to treat facial veins, including broken capillaries around the nose. The lasers we use are the intense pulsed light, the pulse dye laser and/or the CoolTouch Varia, which delivers high-intensity pulses of light to the treatment area, causing the broken capillaries to become absorbed into the body and disappear. We choose the most appropriate laser for your type of capillaries.

Several options

There are several options for small nasal veins including lasers, microneedle radiofrequency, IPL and ohmic thermolysis with either VeinGogn or VeinWave. There should be no downtime and the usual risks are burns or scaring. You should discuss the risks with your treating physician as well as the pricing.

Hi Madison. The best technologies for getting rid of nose veins are the KTP laser or the long pulsed Nd:Yg laser. These are not brands of lasers but rather types. You can call around to see if medical practices near you have these. If they don't know what you are talking about, it might not be the right place.

Brands include:
Sciton Profile
Laserscope Aura or Aura-i
