Length of Claravis Treatment?

I was on Accutane when at 15 (don't recall treatment length) & my skin cleared up dramatically. I started using Claravis again @ 26 since my acne picked up again & was on it for 3 mos. & skin becoame amazingly clear again. I was kicked out of iPledge b/c I thought my treatment ended @ 3 mos. & didn't follow up with Derm. When I did, they said they wanted a full 6 mos. but my ? is - my skin is tremendously clear again and I'd like to stop taking Claravis & the birth control. Please advise.
