i had the lip augmentation procedure done 6 days ago, most visible swelling and bruising has gone. there is still very minor bumps. my lips are just beginning to settle. however i accidentally hit on my lip on the right side. no apparent damage or changes. the area seems slightly red and i do feel a small bump but i can't tell if this was from the hit or not. could this cause any permanent damage?? is it something i should worry about?
Answer: Trauma After Lip Augmentation As filler can be molded to shape the first few days, trauma to the area and manipulation should be done with caution. After a period of 3-7 days, the filler becomes harder to move around in the lop and trauma will less likely reposition the filler. A thorough examination by your treating physician should help clarify if there is any repositoining of the filler.
