Latisse is fine to use with contact lenses

Latisse is fine to use with contact lenses. However, we do recommend that you remove the contact lenses before applying Latisse. If you want to re-insert the lenses, wait 5 minutes after applying Latisse.

Latisse and contact lenses

You can use Latisse if you wear contact lenses.  It is recommended that you apply the Latisse after the lenses are removed at bedtime.  The potential side effects of Latisse include redness of the eye, itching, pigmentation of the skin around the eyelids, hair growth outside of lash line, change in the color of the iris. You should seek care from an eyeMD to have your eyes checked under the microscope if you use Latisse.

Latisse and contact lenses

The product insert explains that contact lenses should be removed prior to application of Latisse. The contact lens may be re-inserted after waiting at least 15 minutes after Latisse application. The most common side effect of Latisse is itching in the eyes and this only occurs 4 percent of the time.
