Are Lasers Safe for Use on the Glans and Inner Foreskin of the Penis?

I have always been self-concious about the appearance of my penis, particulary the inner-foreskin and glans (I am circumcised). I am unhappy with the texture of both. I also have a lot of brown and red spots/discoloration on both. Through reserach, I have seen that lasers can fix these problems when they occur on skin. However, the glans and inner foreskin are not skin, but mucous membrane and very delicate. Therefore, I wanted to know if lasers would be as safe and effective to use on this area, even though it is mucous membrane and not regular skin. Thanks.
