Laser Treatment After Filler for Under Eye Hollows?

If I get a filler for hollow under eyes, will I also need laser treatment or something to lighten the darkness of the skin discoloration?

Filler

Fillers add volume and do not change skin discoloration.  However, under the eyes, in the so-called "tear trough" region, filling of the depression may diminish the dark area by changing shadowing.  Try the filler first in this area.
