Please Tell Me the Best Laser for the Treatment of Acne Scars

I would like to ask for advice on the best laser for the treatment of acne scarring. I have looked into the 1540, fraxel and others and I am completely confused by all the information. I am concerned I will spend a lot of money on one laser when there might be an even better one out there.

Lasers for Acne Scarring which one is the best

There are many lasers out there. Many are also touted to help with acne scarring. Acne works in all layers of the skin. IMO, the best laser is co2 laser. I have seen many patients that haven't gotten the results from fraxel, thermage, and other lasers. But with acne because it is a multilayered approach we need to treat it like that. That is why I like the multilayered approach to acne with co2 laser resurfacing. see video

Acne Scar

My advice is to search out a good provider rather than a treatment or laser. Many different doctors get great results by many different methods. Find a docter you trust and whose presults you admire. Have fun and good luck! Hannah Vargas, Kansas City

The best treatment for acne scars is a combination treatment.

The best treatment for acne scars is a combination treatment. I use a combination treatment using extensive subcision and Fraxel Repair Laser in a single treatment session. We are routinely getting 75+ improvement in one treatment session. see photos

Acne scar improvement depends on the type of scar

Acne scar treatment is completely dependent on the type of acne scars. Without pictures or a formal consultation with a physician, it would be difficult to determine which laser would be the best for you.
