Laser resurfacing to reduce red spots from actinic keratosis treatment?

After a treatment for actinic keratosis using Carac cream, I have red spots on my forearms. Will skin resurfacing using a laser diminish these?

Can the new Mixto SX Micro Fractional C02 Laser treat AK's (Actinic Keratosis)? I understand the treatment is usually only 1 course of the laser and downtime is only a few days compared to a few weeks using Efudex Cream.
