Hairline Transplants Versus Laser Hair Transplants

Laser assisted hair transplants do not confer any advantages and have largely been abandoned by the few who used it in their hair transplant arsenal from many years ago. FUE is the most modern form of hair restoration surgery. Advanced forms of FUE such as my uGraft technique allows for the use of non-head hair for hair restoration.

Laser Hair Transplant

There is no advantage to surgical lasers for transplant work. However Low Level Laser Light Therapy has been shown to stabilize hair loss better than any other modality and is excellent to use pre-op and post- op for transplant work.

Laser Hair Transplant

The word "laser" always excites the public and there is the assumption that the more complex the technique the better the result. Frequently this is not true and many people have tried using the laser with hair transplants without better results but increased costs. Also, because of the heat the laser generates it can cause damage to the recipient sites.
