I am concerned that my sweat glands will be negatively affected especially since I am getting Laser Hair Removal done on multiple areas of my body. Has there been any research or have you seen any issues of this in patients you treat?

Laser Hair Removal Affecting Sweat Glands

Very interesting question - Laser Hair Removal treatments may indeed affect the sweat glands!  An article in the medical journal Practical Dermatology (January 2010) showed that using a long pulsed Nd:YAG laser did reduce underarm sweating and was actually used as a treatment for this problem.  It is postulated that the laser hair reduction treatments affected the sweat gland structures which are next to the hair follicles.
