Does Laser Hair Removal Change Skin Texture?

Laser hair removal should not change skin texture
Laser hair removal should not change skin texture permanently. The biggest risk from this procedure is darkening of the skin in the area treated. The darker your skin is, the higher the risk this might happen. Even this is avoidable if the proper laser is used with the proper settings by a very experienced practitioner, and if you do your part by meticulously protecting yourself from the sun. You should not be tan when treated or tan for 8 weeks after a treatment. The only way that you may have permanent changes in skin texture with hair removal is if you are burned during the procedure which then leads to scarring. This is an exceeding rare complication if the above guidelines are followed.
