See a vascular surgeon for an assessment so they can determine the integrity of the circulation.

Severe Complications after Vein Stripping

Sorry to hear of your condition. Unfortunately, your history is not complete nor typical for any one condition. You need a full work up. I would start with a blood doctor / Hematologist who needs to work up your anemia as well as the reason for the DVT. It could be related to medications you take, a familial propensity to clot but could be caused by several autoimmune disorders and rarely even an early form of cancer. Once the work up is completed, I would return, if needed to the... more

Cold hands and feet

i would see a hematologist for the recurrent dvts and a hypercoaguablity workup. i would see a vascular surgeon who specializes in arterial disease for the hands and feet. An ultrasound of the arteries in arms and legs may be a good starting point for a workup of the dvt and cold hands and feet.   a colonoscopy and egd may be included in anemia workup.

The Right Surgeon For You

Hello, I have a couple of question for you. Where did you go to have the procedure done? Did you check the credential of the doctor before you signed up for this procedure? It is very important to do a background check before any surgery to make sure that your physician is properly trained. You should consult immediately a vascular surgeon.
