During my 1 week post op, a nurse assited me and took out my sutures/stitches. I was unaware one was left in (i know she was working on that same side for a long time and maybe it wouldnt come out) until i got home and showered. Now it's a little bothersome when i wash it or go to put ointment on my incision. Should i go in and take it out or wait 3weeks till my next post-op appointment?

Answer: Early Suture Issues Are Annoying and Temporary
It is very common to have water retention after any type of surgery. You are only 8 days out. This swelling may last for weeks. Please tell your plastic surgeon your concerns.
If you are planning to have the surgery just for your boyfriend, I strongly suggest you do not. Plastic surgery is a choice that should only be made for yourself, and not to please someone else. It's your body and you should be the one who makes any decisions about it.
This is what I generally recommend to my patients: After three days, you can start normal non-strenuous activities. No exercise, but you can leisurely walk around. After three weeks, you can start lower body training and light cardio workouts. Avoid impact-based exercises for at least four weeks...
