Will Efudix Help with Sun and Liver Spots?

I have large sun spots (age/brown patches ) on my face and hands, will efudix help these? Also I have liver spots on my legs, I have been given efudix for these.

Efudex works on precancerous growths

Typically Efudex, 5-Fluorouracil, is absorbed by rapidly dividing skin cells in precancerous actinic keratoses but not the normal surrounding skin. Once in those cells, it prevents further division thereby arresting their growth.
