Large Mass After Smart Lipo?

SmartLipo done on 3/8/11. Day after my results were PERFECT, but now I have a large ball below my navel to the right a bit. I have had 1 Dermasonic Massage and going for another one tomorrow, and still wear compression garment day and nite. I have been massaging the mass and rolling it downward w/ a rolling pin as my doctor suggested w/ no improvement. My doctor says its just swelling or fluid, but how is he sure that its not scar tissue or a "fat ball"? Expert opinions pls. PICTURES INCLUDED!

Tender lump after liposuction

You mentioned your abdomen looked perfect shortly after your liposuction but then the mass appeared. It would be doubtful that it is residual fat because it would have appeared lumpy right after surgery. The question that needs answering is what is causing the lump. Is it a seroma (liquid serum collection, but they're usually not hard), could it be a hematoma (collection of blood, this can become hard and tender), is it an infection?  Hematomas can resolve but they can get infected... more
