I've a large lump about the size of my hand on my abdomen since having a tummy tuck 2 years ago. It been there for a while and as they tightened my muscles I thought oh well it's from that and it's normal. However I have had a couple of friends who have since had tummy tucks also and their stomachs are flat without any lumps so now I'm starting to think it's not so normal. The lump is fairly central to my belly button, but of to the left slightly. Could that be it? What exactly is a hernia?
