I am a little over 2 weeks post op, everything is going great but this morning I stretched my arms above my head while waking up without realizing it. I felt a very sharp pain in my left nipple. It went away after a few seconds but scared me. I called my ps and he said to take it easy and see how today goes. Just wondering what kind of damage that can cause. Or could it just have been from stretching the nerve? Because my nipples have been raw and overly sensitive for the past week.

Unless the implants were placed for reconstructive reasons most insurance companies won't cover the cost of revisionary surgery. You need to look at your specific contract but they normally have small print related to complications related to cosmetic procedures.

Thank you for the question. A breast lift and augmentation is something my patients and I discuss all the time. My suggestions to them are to be conservative and use an implant before considering a lift. Patients can always return and complete the lift later.
