Chemical Peel: Q&A

Ask a Question

Pink after lactic acid peel

I Had a Lactic Acid Peel (50% LA with a Ph 1.2). The Peel Was Preceded with Dermaplaning. The peel was neutralized at 1 min 50 seconds. Three days post-peel, my cheeks scabbed. The scabs fell off 5-7 days post-peel. Six weeks post-peel there are areas on my cheeks that are still "pink". Without makeup, it looks like a mild case of rosacea. I am a fitz II and have been having either GA or LA peels (30%) for about the last 10 years. What can I do for the pink? Is it too late? Thanks in advance for any insight you may offer.
