I'm very insecure about my gummy smile....my mother had the same problem and had surgery in the 80s for it, and was botched, her gummy smile is gone but she has issues from the surgery..so she has reserves about any kind of surgery..but I remain interested because I am sick of my smile....I am not sure of my options here.....I think a permanent solution would be most ideal...I never had (or needed) braces on my teeth. I just want to have a nice smile...

While bonding material CAN be done here, the space is so small that the result may not be that significant. The space is roughly the size of the materials used just to INSERT the filling material. The space likely won't get much bigger.
