Labia Majoria

I had a full Tummy Tuck 5 days ago and I have to say I feel awesome ...no problems with anything. Walking straight since second day, up and down stairs, no major swelling and no real pains(except for the minor itch or pain). But today I wake up and my Labia Majora is bothering me. I am having alot of pressure in that area and discomfort. It don't hurt to touch but just feels like when I was pregnant and I had pressure pain in that area when i was near due date. Any idea why this is?

Labia Majora Swelling after Tummy Tuck?

Thank you for the question. It is always best to be examined by a plastic surgeon to rule out any complication after surgery. Having said that, it is very likely that you're experiencing swelling of the genitalia area after the tummy tuck surgery. This generally resolves without intervention. Best wishes. see video

Swelling after tummy tuck

The labia and mons tissue (pubic fat pad) often become swollen after a tummy tuck and can become tender to touch. This is often made worse by certain garments. You should discuss this with your PS.
