Hi doctors, I have a very sensitive nose, meaning i tend to catch a cold, flu easily. I think i have nose sinus easily too and whenever there is dust or too much perfume i will sneeze a lot, I am worry if i were to get an rhinoplasty, my recover will be tough.
Rhinoplasty on Patient with Sensative Nose
With a well done rhinoplasty you may actually decrease the incidence of colds and nasal congestion. Improving the nasal airway can diminish your symptoms. A complete nasal examination should be done as part of your consultation.
Based on your description it appears that you have some medical issues with your nose - this does not mean that you cannot have rhinoplasty but you should ideally have a specialist (i.e. facial plastic surgeon) evaluate the interior of the nose
