I'm a 5'8, 155 lb 20 year old male. My unclothed waist measurement is 34 in, but I want to be able to wear pants with a 29 in. waist. I can easily wear that size, however it pushes my skin up and above my pants, creating a muffin top. Should I lose more until they fit around my waist WITHOUT them causing this? Or will surgery remove enough skin for me to wear them correctly? I know that it's different for each person, but if I could get a general idea it would help immensely. Thank you kindly.
Answer: Depends on Subcutaneous Fat Thank you for your question. The answer depends on the amount of subcutaneous fat. If you are fully deflated, then skin removal will help. If there is still subcutaneous fat then, it will help but may not get you to 29 with out some fat removal or weight loss. This question is best answered with an examination.

Answer: Exercise as much as possible before your lower body lift Hello SeanTaylor, thank you for your question and providing yourhistory. This is difficult to answer this question accurately withoutphotos or having a physical examination. However, I will attempt toanswer your question the best that I can. I would suggest to diet andexercise as much as possible before your lower body lift. It is essentialto try to lose as much weight before surgery and to maximize theamount of muscle for energy storage before your lower body lift. However, I would be very realistic. I would choose a date on thecalendar then diet and exercise as much as possible. When that datecomes, then schedule your surgery. There is no ideal weight for apatient to be to undergo a 360 circumferential body lift. In additionthere is no pre-determined amount of weight that a patient should loseto make it ideal for having surgery. If you have any questions feel free to contact my office. Good luck.Sincerely,J. Answer: Will I lose any amount of inches from my waist after a full body lift? Thank you very much for your question. The answer is that you would certainly lose inches from your waist by having a full body lift. The exact amount of inches, however, really depends on your individual body type. Without photographs and detailed measurements, and an in person consultation, it is impossible for any online consultant to give you a realistic answer to this question.

Answer: Will I lose inches around my waist after a body lift Its difficult to answer your questions without a formal examination. You should notice a good reduction in your circumference following a body lift although its difficult to determine exactly what your pant size will be after surgery. In general, bodylift achieves a dramatic reduction around the waist line giving a youthful definition. As long as you are at your healthy ideal goal weight and have held it steady for around three months then its likely you will be very happy with the results of your surgery.
