I often see the words long term or "permanent" used when referring to liplift results. I know duration varies based on technique and continued ageing. What is the average of a permanent or long term lip lift?

Lip Lift Duration
While there is some dropping and settling of the work done with a lip lift for as long as 3 to 5 years afterwards, this is still a real good procedure when performed properly on the correct patient candidate.

Duration of Lip Lift Effect
Because skin is permanently removed and rearranged, the result of a lip lift is permanent. You continue to age, and upper lip appearance will change with the passage of time, but your upper lip will never be as vertically long as it would have been without having the lip lift. Also, the lip lift is an operation that can be repeated for additional lift in the future, with no additional scar.
