They look completely normal and have definitely dropped since I got them down, but my right side is a bit tighter then my left and it feels like I can feel my pec and breast implant when I move or sit certain ways. Is that pretty common? I had surgery 2.5, almost 3 weeks ago, under the muscle, cohesive gel, 500ccs.
Answer: Awareness of breast implant with movement It is not uncommon to be aware of an implant when laying in certain positions, or to have a different sensation on one side. Often these sensations will diminish over time; your surgery was fairly recent.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Is it normal to 'feel' the implant move in one breast and not the other when I move a certain way? Your description does not sound too concerning (a moderate degree of asymmetry when it comes to feel, movement, look… is quite commonly encountered after breast augmentation surgery); however, always best to check with your plastic surgeon directly for the most accurate diagnosis/advice. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with long-term.

Answer: Too early to judge outcome At this time after surgery it is normal for the implants to feel different. Massage can help soften them so they feel more similar. The feeling you are experiencing is normal.

Answer: Feeling implant move in one breast Dear FitGirl_92, Thank you for your clinical post and important question. As you only had surgery two-and-a-half to three weeks ago, it is extremely common to have asymmetry in the breasts with respect to healing, swelling and the perception of even internal breast movement. By providing ongoing breast massage and stretching, you will find both the implants and the breast tissue overlying will achieve a soft and harmonious result, usually by the fourth to sixth week postoperatively. It is too early on to have developed a capsule in that pocket. The pocket itself may be compromised by fluids, such as seroma or hematoma and a breast ultrasound may be necessary. If there is some degree of constriction, then breast revision enhancement surgery could be performed any time after eight or nine months. Returning to your operative physician to get some sort of explanation and reassurance is useful, because they are in the best position to offer advice based upon the procedures performed. Breast asymmetry, both in size, shape and mobility, is very common and you can likely be assured that you will end up with an excellent result over time. For more information, please review the link below. I hope this information has been of some assistance and best of luck. Sincerely, R. Stephen Mulholland, M.D. Certified Plastic Surgeon Yorkville, Toronto
