I live in Washington DC and I want a keloid on my earlobe removed. This has really brought discomfort to my life and I really want it removed ASAP. It's kind of small. How much will it cost and are there any doctors in my area who does this procedure? Please help me.

Keloid scar treatment can be costly
Treatment of keloid scars can be costly. This is because of the tendency for the scars to recur. Sometimes, smaller scars can be treated with steroid injections. In viewing your scar however I don’t think this would be adequate. The size of your keloid is such that it will likely require a surgical removal. This is generally an outpatient procedure that can be performed in the surgeon’s office and should not be tremendously expensive.
