Can Anything Be Done for my Keloid?

I have a keloid on my chest and I just had 3 months of kenalog injections the shot only flatten the scar and now the dermatologist I went to told me that there is nothing else to be done. I refuse to believe this. Can I have this keiloid removed surgically, or is there any new technology I can have done and make it not return? This keloid is itchy and ugly, and I feel ugly too when I have to see it. Please help. This have been going on for four years. Thanks.
