Do I Have a Keloid or Hypertrophic Scar and What is the Best Treatment?

I was in an accident 4 months ago where I developed a slightly raised scar on my chin 7 stitches. I visited a derm and she said i have a keloid scar. I am not convinced as it is only slightly raised. She prescribed me a steroid dermovate with dermatix for the scar. Acc. to one of the doctors on this forum (Samuel Lam) it is virtually impossible to get a keloid on the chin. I think it is hypertrophic as it does not go beyond the original wound. What do you think? and what treatment would you advise?
