How to Remove Keloids on Back

If the keloids were caused by an injury then they usually respond to cutting them out and having a meticulous plastic surgeon restitch them.  We could also use kenalog (cortisone like medicine) to help them flatten out and improve. In areas like the shoulder, a keloid may not improve much because it is always under motion stress during walking, exercise, etc. Meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon in person and discuss your options. 

Keloids on the shoulders can be removed with IIT and laser. I rarely excise shoulder keloids.
