Does Kaiser Insurance Cover Accutane?

I am a physician in private practice in San Diego. I have put a few patients with Kaiser insurance on accutane but these patients paid cash to see me. In these cases, the patients' Kaiser physicians refused to prescribe Accutane and I am not exactly sure why. There is no reason, however, why Kaiser physicians cannot prescribe Accutane when it is indicated, and there is no reason why you should not be able to obtain Accutane through Kaiser's pharmacies.
