A: Turning back the clock

A. Peter Salas, MD

The aging process causes loss of volume in the face. Adding volume with fillers is an excellent way to turn back the clock and delay the need for more extensive surgical procedures. Juvederm is a filler made of Hyaluronic Acid. There are a number of products containing the same material. these... more

A: I Prefer fat Grafting for Permanent Augmentation to the Cheeks

Michael Law, MD

My Raleigh, North Carolina Plastic Surgery Practice I use Fat Grafting to treat sunken cheeks.  There are  a number of 'soft tissue fillers' are available for temporarily improving facial areas that have lost volume or have developed deep lines and creases. Greetings, Juvederm can definitely be used as a filler in the cheeks. This is an off label use but can be safely done. A: I prefer Radiesse or Perlane for cheek augmentation

Steven F. Weiner, MD

There are 2 camps with Sculptra: Docs who use it and ones who don't. I'm in the camp of not using Sculptra, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be used. Steve Weiner, MD... more
