What Does Juvederm Look Like?

Juvederm by Allergan comes in two forms. There is Juvederm Ultra which is in a light pink box and Juvederm Ultra Plus in a darker pink box. The box contains two 0.08cc syringes of Juvederm in a pre-sealed pull back plastic peel pack. When the pack is opened there is one 0.08cc syringe with a hologram sticker around the syringe and the sticker has the lot number and expiration date on it and this will get put on your chart. All useful information from the panel members. A good practice is for the injector to open the packaging in the treatment room. The enclosed labels are then placed in the patient chart to identify the lot number as well as expiration date.

Juvederm is Allergan's hyaluronic acid injectable filler. Although it may not be as well known as Medicis's Restylane, they are both cross-linked hyaluronic acid fillers sold by competing companies. Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus are packaged in pretty light pink and darker pink boxes.  Inside each box are 2 syringes which are in a paper and plastic peel pack.  There are also labels with expiration dates and serial numbers that get placed on your chart.

Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus are both packed in boxes containing two plastic carriers each with a paper cover that peels back to reveal the syringe.
