Juvederm comes in a 0.8 cc clear syringe. The material itself looks like a clear jelly. In the United States there are two forms of Juvederm, one called Juvederm Ultra and the other called Juvederm Ultra Plus. The boxes look very similar with a light purple coloration. Practitioners need to be careful when reaching for these products because the boxes do look so similar. The boxes are clearly labeled with the words ultra or ultra plus next to the word Juvederm. Inside the box if it has never been opened you will see two syringes that are separately packaged. Many times the injector will require the use of only a single tube. If that is the case the box he gets for you may have only a single syringe. The syringe should be inside a plastic tray with white paper sealed all around the edges of the plastic tray.
