I was shocked to hear a residents explanation of why my niece had bloody soars that looked like scabies or small insect bites all over her under arms and down near her belly button. He said staples were used to keep the dressings from moving. I'm thinking this goes against the physicians oath to do no harm.

I would recommend that you contact your surgeon for an evaluation. The stinging sensation may be skin irritation from the steristrips or nerve sensitivity. It is difficult to troubleshoot the problem without an examination. Your surgeon will be able to figure out what is wrong. Good luck....
