Hi debz, Yes, jaw reduction may be performed without directly modifying the jaw or masseter muscle. A large jaw can make the lower face square or more masculine, which is less desired by women. Jaw Line Reduction

Without "before" pictures, it is impossible for use to give you specific advice.  In some cases, the appearance of the jaw line can be reduced with Botox Cosmetic as an off-label treatment.  If you are a candidate for this procedure it would be much less invasive than surgery to reduce the jaw.
