Did Doctor Inject a Proper Amount of Hyaluronidase Vitrase to Dissolve Juvederm? Will I Get my Natural Cheekbones Back? (photo)

I had 0.2cc of Juvederm injected in my cheeks 18 days ago. I didn't want it. The doctor insisited. He hit the blood vessel on left side. I had bad bruising and swelling. 2 days ago I went back to dissolve Juvederm w/ Vitrase. I got deep wrinkles under my eyes that I never had before & I think some of the Juvederm was placed right into left tear trough. He injected 70 units of Vitrase. Was it a proper amount? My own cheekbones deflated! What should I do? I'm devastated! I can't model anymore!

Fillers

I believe that the fillers and botox is the most overused products in cosmetic medicine. The reason is availability to every body with an MD after their name. You did not want the Juvederm, BUT (dr insisted??). ).2 cc is very small amount, what most probably you have now is the hematoma or blood in the tissue causing some of the changes. Wait a long time then you can see a Plastic Surgeon for full evaluation. Fine wrinkles in the lower lid can be treated, if they persist,... more

Take a look at my before pictures taken the day before Juvederm and then the after pictures. The dotor who did an unauthorized procedure on me, without my permission, destryoed my face in every face possible, yet says that I look much better after her screw up. This is how messed up her head is and she is injecting people. The doctor who injected me doesn't have a soul or conscious. That is obvious. It is hard to believe she raised two children.

I feel so sorry for you because nearly the exact same thing happened to me. I too have been devasted. I wanted only one wrinkle traced with Juvederm next to my right eye that was visible only when I smiled. The doctor filled the entire hollows under both eyes without telling me she was going to do that. It caused horrible wrinkling, bumps, and swelling, under my eyes and the Juvederm migrated to my lower eyelids causing horrible bags for two months until I finally started getting it dissolved with Hyaluronidase. When it was dissolved I had wrinkles on my eyelids and under my eyes that were never present before Juvederm. The doctor also hit a major blood vessel that produced a blue line across my face that also left blood until my skin which takes at least six months for the discoration to go away. The Juvederm also got underneath a fat pad and raised it. It was never visible before and now looks unsightly. A plastic surgeon used Radiesse to cover the blue discoloration and build up the indented areas caused by the Hyaluronidase. It got rid of all the blue and looked like my actual flesh. Please look into Radiesse with an experienced plastic surgeon. He also traced over the blue line from the broken blook vessel with Radiesse and it covered the discoloration. This was all done in one visit. I still need to get CO2 laser for the newly formed under eye wrinkles and also for the raised fat pad. It is all a disaster and the doctor who did this just mocks me and refuses to take responsiblity for doing a procedure I didn't even authorize. In all it will cost me over $10,000 and I still don't know if after all the recovery I will look as good as I did before the unauthorized procedure with Juvederm. The doctor originally admitted that she screwed up and that she would do everything to make things better for me. The next week she completely blamed everything on me and washed her hands of me. The good news is that I have proof that she admitted fault to messing up the procedure and agreed to do everything to correct the situation. At this time she doesn't even realize this, and has been the most dishonest person on the face of the earth and thrown me under the bus in every way possible. She wrote lies on all of my patient records saying that she informed me that Juvederm Ultra, under the eyes, had a high risk of failure, and I insisted that she carry on with the procedure. She is full of it as they come, and Juvederm Ultra is not supposed to be used under the eyes according to Allergan, so I don't blame the maker of the product in any way, just the doctor who isn't knowledgeable of her practices. You would think that a doctor who makes millions would try to support patients that they mess up on due to their own mistakes.
