Irritation in Left Eye 4 Weeks After Lower Bleph

I had a lower Bleph done 4 weeks ago and am experiencing conjunctival swelling and a feeling of something in my eye. This is happening in the outer corner. My PS has me back on Tobra/Dex for a week and then in one more week wants to see me again. He has said this may be an internal suture he placed causing irritation and that he may need to remove it. I am getting scared do you think this is the correct course, and is it common for an internal suture to cause this kind of irritation in the eye?
