I am considering IPL. What is the difference between CynergyPL and The Palomar Photorejuvenation lasers? How do they compare to IPL? Which one is better?

IPL vs Cynergy

IPL stands for Intensed Pulsed Light and intensed pulsed light has proven excellent over the past 10 years in improving red and brown discoloration. IPL is less effective at improving lines, textures and pores. There are many companies that make very good IPL systems including but not limited to the afore mentioned Sciton and their BBL, Syneron and the eMax, Lumenis and the LumOne, Palomar’s Starilux and Cutera’s Xeo and Almas’ Harmony. Experienced Physician

I concur that the most important thing is the physician operating the device. It is critical that you seek the services of the most highly qualified physician as compared to "device shopping". Technologies change and some come and go. The most important thing is to seek the care of a well trained, honest and ethical physician.

But - must important of all is not the machine but the hands and experience of the person OPERATING the machine. Choose your physician first and leave the hype alone.
