I am considering IPL. What is the difference between CynergyPL and The Palomar Photorejuvenation lasers? How do they compare to IPL? Which one is better?

IPL vs Cynergy

IPL stands for Intensed Pulsed Light and intensed pulsed light has proven excellent over the past 10 years in improving red and brown discoloration. IPL is less effective at improving lines, textures and pores. I concur that the most important thing is the physician operating the device. It is critical that you seek the services of the most highly qualified physician as compared to "device shopping". Technologies change and some come and go. The most important thing is to seek the care of a well trained, honest and ethical physician.

Most of the IPL systems on the market are comparable. Scition's BroadBand Light (BBL) IPL is the most powerful and versatile system on the market. But - must important of all is not the machine but the hands and experience of the person OPERATING the machine. Choose your physician first and leave the hype alone.
